He earned his MSc Degree in Rural Sociology from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. He attains valuable experience of more than 38 years in the field of Social Sciences i.e. Baseline development,  Household survey, Master Planning & Development third Party Validation, Monitoring & Evaluation, Resettlement Frame Work, Resettlement Action Plan, Gender empowerment studies, Institutional Development, Irrigation Management Transfer (IMT), Community Based Wetlands Management Plans & Drainage Action Plan, , research, planning, Social Impact Assessment, Socio-Economic & Environmental Studies, Social Mobilization, Community Development (Farmers Organizations, Nehri Panchayats, Khal Panchayats, Water User Associations, Community-based Organizations, Flood Protection Associations, Women Groups), Training/Capacity Building, Institutional Reforms, , development of communication strategy and Monitoring & Evaluation of a number of livelihood, Educational, Agricultural, Rural Development, Water Resources, water management  and Poverty Alleviation projects. He is heading and leading (i) Social Mobilization & Community Development (ii) Gender Empowerment and (iii) Monitoring & Evaluation Sections of SACAN Services.
